Finlayson

Finlayson, founded in 1820, is the oldest textile manufacturer in Northern Europe, based in Finland. The spinning mill established in Tampere, Finland in 1820 included facilities such as schools, libraries, and churches, contributing to Tampere's development as Finland's largest industrial city. In 1951, Finlayson was the first in Finland to establish an in-house design atelier. The classic patterns born in the 1950s (CORONNA) and 1960s (TAIMI, ELEFANTTI) have been loved for decades and are complemented by attractive new patterns that capture the season's trend colors and motifs, widely appreciated both domestically and internationally.
